Our journey towards justice and rights
Our Foundation
Pakistan Justice & Rights Initiative (PJ&RI) was established in 2023 with a vision to create a more just and equitable society through legal empowerment, civic education, and policy advocacy. Founded by a group of young legal professionals and social activists, the organization emerged from a shared commitment to address systemic injustices in Pakistan.
The founding team recognized three fundamental gaps in Pakistan’s justice landscape:
- Limited public understanding of constitutional rights
- Barriers to justice for marginalized communities
- Lack of youth engagement in legal reform processes
From its inception, PJ&RI has maintained a dual focus on both immediate legal interventions and long-term systemic change through education and policy work.
