Team Composition

Each team must consist of three members with specific advocacy roles

Two Speakers

One Researcher

Focuses on legal research, case analysis, and memorial preparation. Provides essential support to speakers during preparation and competition.

Team Collaboration

The competition is open to:

  • Adjudicators: Experienced lawyers, judges, and academics
How is the membership discount applied?

The membership discount works as follows:

  • Automatic Verification: System checks email against PJ&RI membership database
  • Per Participant: Each team member's status is verified individually
  • Fee Calculation: Mixed teams pay according to individual membership status
  • Documentation: No additional documents needed for verification
What is the refund policy? Can I get my money back if I can't participate?

Please note that registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. This policy helps us maintain the integrity of the competition and cover administrative costs.

However, we offer a flexible replacement option:

  • Transfer Registration: If you are unable to participate, you can transfer your registration to someone else.
  • Self-Arranged Replacement: You are responsible for finding a replacement participant (must meet eligibility criteria).
  • Notify Us: Once you find a replacement, please inform us at info@pjri.org with the new participant's details.
  • No Additional Fee: There is no charge for transferring registration to a qualified replacement.
  • Team Changes: This policy applies to individual team members or entire team replacements.
